While I miss being in person, I’ve been surprised by how well we can work together virtually. By watching you move on camera, discussing the specifics of how you use your body, what causes you pain and where you feel it, I can identify your imbalances quite successfully.
For new clients, I offer an hour virtual session which includes time for intake and assessment along with demo and practice of specific stretches and strengthening exercises so you can practice on your own. (Pre-COVID, an initial in-person session included an additional hour of bodywork, but the real work happens through the wellness plan at home!)
Subsequent Zoom sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes, during which we can check in on specific exercises and body issues as needed. Some clients are also using Zoom to learn mindfulness and relaxation tools as well as to have me offer a guided meditation practice for them. Others are using Zoom sessions as private yoga lessons. Lots of possibilities!
